Behind the revolutionary function is the design duo of Jonas Forsman/Lars Wettre. Two young and award-winning industrial designers from Gothenburg, Sweden. Jonas and Lars have collaborated since their days at the Chalmers University of Technology on a number of different projects.
With experience from assignments for companies such as Volvo, Siemens, IKEA and Lammhults, Lars and Jonas have developed CableCup based on function, design and quality.
What's unique about CableCup's ceiling rose is that it can be turned inside out. This provides a number of advantages. You can see what you're doing when you’re hanging your lamp. With the new ceiling rose, there’s always a perfect fit between the lamp and ceiling, without gaps. The soft material also means that the rose's shape adjusts itself to the length of the ceiling hook.
