With CableCup, installing a lamp couldn’t be easier and the results are always perfect. Its discrete design doesn’t draw attention from the lamp. Instead it contributes to the perfect whole.

How to install CableCup

Secure the cable in the hanger and hang it on the hook.

Flip the canopy

Coil the cable in the CableCup and then fold it against the ceiling.

Be happy with the result!

Finished! Your lamp will now sit tight to the ceiling and never slip down.

Okay, you have a socket in the ceiling but you don’t want your lamp at the same place? Or you just want to hide a hole or some cords in the ceiling? Our plate cover Hide™ gives you the freedom to install your lamp wherever you please but without losing that clean look. It covers the things you want to cover in your ceiling.

Hide™ has the same ingenious function as the ceiling rose but is smaller and without the hole. Choose between white or black.

You can attach Hide™ to the ceiling in two different ways. If you have a hook in the ceiling. Fit Hide™ to the hook and then flip it. If you don’t have a hook. Pull the flap around the cord and through one of the holes to lock in place. Pull tight. And then flip.

Hide your cords in the ceiling

CableCup was created by the Swedish designers Jonas Forsman and Lars Wettre.

 Industrial Designer

“I work with product development from idea to final 3D drawings for manufacturing and always with the focus on product design.”

“I design from the inside and out. By studying users and the desired functionality, the core of the product is created. Then it is just a matter of hard work to apply the right surface to provide justice to the core.”

CableCup has won the Swedish Design Award as well as the international and prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

CableCup’s design is discrete and timeless. Considerable emphasis has been put on it fitting many different types of lamps and ceilings. The innovative function is patented and assures perfect results. Installing a CableCup is easy and is carried out in three simple steps as shown above.

One of the advantages of CableCup is that it’s suspended directly from the hook. This means that it can never drop down or fall away from the ceiling. It also means that lamps can be installed at maximum height.

Both the product and our company have their origin in a newly purchased kitchen lamp. Looked great, but there was a problem. It was impossible to get the ceiling rose to fit right. With an interest in interior design, this was a disturbing element in an otherwise fully satisfactory kitchen.

The actual idea of being able to turn a ceiling rose inside out came to Lars while he was trying to sleep. The morning after he started work with making a rose that could be turned inside out so as to meet all the demands placed on a ceiling rose. Lars and Jonas worked together in developing the function and design of the ceiling rose, which received the name CableCup.

We are careful with quality at all steps and the material is the most important factor for the product’s function. Due to this, considerable emphasis has been put on choosing the right material and the right supplier – a supplier with the necessary skills for transforming the material into the finished product.

Production is conducted in Sweden by experienced injection moulders using modern machinery. Assembly is on our premises and each product is inspected for quality at least twice before being placed in shop packaging. They are then packed and sent out to our distributors.

We’d love to hear what you think. Just drop us a line and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
